The times they are a-changin’  
 
It is an old cliché but it is true and SBES too must keep up with the changes.
 
Many of our long term exhibitors and visitors still look back to the days when the SBES was a smaller event and think of those days as the best days of SBES.
 
However our industry was smaller then.  Most technology was analogue and exhibitors were happy with a table-top space.  Not any more. 
 
Market forces made it necessary for SBES to move to larger premises.  Market forces made it necessary for SBES to move into the NEC – and now market forces are demanding that we make other changes. 
  
To retain our position in the UK’s broadcasting industry we must continue to meet the needs of the industry as a whole and to embrace new ideas, the newer technologies and the needs and aspirations of visitors to SBES. 
 
At SBES2008 we will be retaining FutureZone, our seminar theatre to continue to offer seminars and discussions about the future of our industry.
